Job Description

Computer Vision Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Computer Vision Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing computer vision algorithms and solutions to enable machines to derive insights from visual data.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop computer vision models and algorithms for tasks such as object detection, image classification, and 3D reconstruction
  • Implement state-of-the-art deep learning architectures like convolutional neural networks (CNNs) for computer vision applications
  • Preprocess and prepare visual data for model training, including data cleaning, augmentation, and annotation
  • Integrate computer vision solutions into existing systems and applications
  • Optimize computer vision models for performance, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest computer vision research, techniques, and industry trends
  • Contribute to the development of best practices and guidelines for computer vision projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 3+ years of experience in developing computer vision solutions and working with image/video data
  • Strong programming skills in Python, C++, or other relevant languages
  • Proficiency in computer vision libraries and frameworks (e.g., OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
  • Solid understanding of machine learning concepts and deep learning architectures
  • Experience with GPU computing and parallel programming
  • Knowledge of image processing techniques and computer vision algorithms
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking abilities
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with specific computer vision applications (e.g., object tracking, facial recognition, augmented reality)
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and containerization technologies
  • Knowledge of 3D computer vision and geometry processing
  • Relevant publications or contributions to open-source computer vision projects
  • Expertise in embedded systems and real-time computer vision applications
