AI Ethics Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking AI Ethics Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the ethical and responsible development and deployment of artificial intelligence (AI) systems within our organization.

Responsibilities:

Ethical Evaluation and Risk Assessment

• Evaluate AI algorithms, models, and systems to identify potential ethical risks, biases, and unintended consequences
• Conduct ethical impact assessments to analyze the implications of AI technologies on individuals, communities, and society

Policy and Framework Development

• Develop ethical guidelines, policies, and frameworks to govern the development and use of AI within the organization
• Ensure AI systems align with ethical principles, such as fairness, transparency, accountability, and respect for human rights

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, legal experts, and policymakers
• Facilitate discussions and provide guidance on ethical considerations throughout the AI lifecycle

Compliance and Advocacy

• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to ethical AI practices
• Advocate for ethical AI development and raise awareness about the responsible use of AI technologies

Education and Training

• Educate teams and stakeholders on ethical AI practices, potential risks, and mitigation strategies
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to foster a culture of ethical responsibility in AI development

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field such as ethics, philosophy, computer science, or a related discipline
• Proven experience in AI ethics, responsible AI, or related areas
• Strong understanding of ethical frameworks, principles, and best practices in AI development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
• Ability to analyze complex technical and ethical issues and provide practical solutions
• Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to AI ethics
